Being a woman is a terribly difficult task, since it consists principally in dealing with men.

I have been blogging a lot recently, but then I just seem to have a lot to say.

Here's something that pisses me off: I just found this picture on the internet

If you're male, you may well have just laughed at that.

Now, here is something miraculous you may not know. Men have emotions. And did you also know, they get just as upset and hurt by things as women. Sure, with women you can blame it on 'hormones' which therefore means they are being a typical woman. What about the typical man? The guy who falls in love and gets seriously hurt when it's unrequited, when he is treated badly, when he screws up, when they break up. How about the guy who cries at his football team being relegated. And the guy who fails his exams. Gets bullied by enemies, and 'friends'. Fights with his family. Loses his job.

He's strong, smart and independent. But when things get a little bit difficult? Maybe he hides it, maybe he ignores it, maybe he works hard to resolve it. But just because women are more likely to cry and talk to their friends, doesn't make them any less strong, independent or smart. Isn't it smart to talk through what is getting to you, so you can express it? Isn't it strong to be brave enough to be able to open up someone? I'm not going to claim that's independent, but when you have a problem, I see no use in isolating yourself.

I'm not getting at men. If they have their own way of dealing with issues that works, then that's great. I just think it's hypocritical and plain wrong to ridicule women for their behaviour. Women have their method, men have theirs. Nature never intended for the sexes to be the same, that's the whole point of them. So just because they have different ways of going about things, it doesn't mean either sex deserves to be judged for it.
